Diane has been a teacher for 16 years, currently teaching Family & Consumer Science at Davie County High School, NC. Her experience also includes teaching various subjects in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. She holds a Masters degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Diane is married with three sons. “I joined CTA right after the pandemic when I realized my views no longer aligned with other teacher organizations. CTA had all of the values I believed in and I wanted to be part of a group I could be proud of and really get behind.” Diane’s hobbies include spending time with her family, reading, cooking, traveling, and taking care of her animals.
