Kenneth has been a teacher for 18 years, and is currently a High School Social Studies Teacher at Athens Drive High School in Wake County, NC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, and a Masters in Educational Administration. He is licensed in Social Studies 9-12, PE K-12, School Administration K-12, and Drivers Education. His certifications include CIC (Certified Interscholastic Coach), AIC (Accretited Interscholastic Coach), C3 Certified Coach, NFHS Certified Coach, NASM CPT and CNC. Kenneth is married with two children. When asked why he joined CTA, Kenneth said “A colleague whom I respect spoke with me about its mission and benefits and I felt it was a good fit for me and my family. Spending quality time with my kids and family are my top goal but I also enjoy running, lifting weights, swimming, and riding my bike. I like to run races and I’m currently training for a 70.3 Ironman in October in Wilmington. I try to make fitness part of my life so that I am a good influence for both my family and my students. I also do some personal training when I’m able to fit it in.”
