November 2022 Teacher of the Month

Stephanie holds a master’s degree in Library Science and has worked in corporate and university libraries. She is currently working on a master's degree in Teaching which will also lead to certification for Elementary Education. Stephanie is completing practicum experiences and student teaching this spring. She's looking forward to becoming a part of the teacher community. Stephanie is a mom of three teen boys, and has been married to her husband for over 20 years. Much of her free time is spent at her children's baseball games and swim practices. She's lived in Apex for over 15 years and teaching is a second career. While her kids were younger, she volunteered in many capacities at their school. She also managed a volunteer-based reading tutoring program in Chatham County for a few years. She loves to read and drink coffee.
